Back on May 10th, I wrote a post about Autopicking your fantasy team. I normally don't do autopick because I know who I want and I won't budge. Because of the success of 2 autopicked teams in a league I play in, I wanted to experiment with it. So, over the weekend, I joined a league and let the computer draft for me. I didn't rank players so I went solely on average draft position (ADP). I received notification on Sunday that my team had been drafted and I couldn't wait to see what I got (x-mas in June).  Here is my team:

.(12)Tom BradyQB
.(13)Rob GronkowskiTE
.(36)Miles AustinWR
.(37)Doug MartinRB
.(60)Frank GoreRB
.(61)Vincent JacksonWR
.(84)Santonio HolmesWR
.(85)PittsburghDEF
.(108)Jason HansonK
.(109)Ben RoethlisbergerQB
.(132)Pierre ThomasRB
.(133)Jacquizz RodgersRB
.(156)Nate BurlesonWR
.(157)Greg OlsenTE
.(180)DallasDEF
.(181)Shaun SuishamK
.(204)Davone BessWR

At first glance, not too shabby and I can definitely work with this. When I reviewed the draft results, I noticed I had the 12th pick. At my QB position, I am set. Tom Brady will be even better this year as the Patriots added deep threats in Brandon Lloyd and Jabar Gaffney. Having Ben Roethlisberger on the bench will serve as some great security. My position of need is RB. I have rookie Doug Martin who is projected to be a stud in a new offense but will compete with Blount. Frank Gore is a stud when healthy but the 49ers added Brandon Jacobs and we all know how Jacobs is when he doesn't get playing time. Pierre Thomas is in a pass happy offense so not expecting huge numbers there. Jacquizz Rodgers is the back up for the durable beast, Michael Turner. I'm set at the WR1-2 positions in Vincent Jackson and Miles Austin. Jackson is with Tampa Bay now and will probably not have the numbers he had in San Diego. Tampa Bay already has 2 great WR's in Mike Williams and Arrelious Benn.  I hope Miles Austin can be the stud he was 2 years ago. You never know what your going to get with Santonio Holmes. Mark Sanchez is overrated but he will have Tebow nibbling at his heels so it may elevate his play. I'm really not expecting anything out of Nate Burleson (I've already put him on waivers). I am set at TE. I have Gronkowski who was the best TE last year and I will benefit from having Brady as my QB (whispering, championship). Greg Olsen will serve only as bye week TE. I am good to go on defense with Pittsburgh and Dallas. You can never go wrong with Pittsburgh and Dallas has made some moves in the offseason to improve their defense. The funny thing is my defense was picked in the 8th round and I never pick defenses that high. My final position is Kicker. Hansen is a great kicker and will give me a ton of extra points. Suisham is decent.

Now that the draft is done, it is time to pilfer the free agents. I never carry 2 kickers so Suisham is gone and I added Stephen Hill, WR for the Jets. He's a big rookie and I think he will be a big time sleeper. He is out of Georgia Tech and many speculate he is a Calvin Johnson clone (Optimus Prime maybe?). I dropped Burleson and used my #1 waiver position to pick up Jamal Charles. As of right now, he is not 100% but when he does return, watch out.

This should be a good season and I hope to add to the Barbershop's Trophy Room!
